Jana Łączyńska
Film, theater, and commercial production designer.

She graduated from the Faculty of Set Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

​

In 2020, she made her debut as a production designer in the feature film Ostatni komers, directed by Dawid Nickel, which won an award at the Gdynia Film Festival. She has designed sets for feature films such as Utrata równowagi, Obudź się, Lany poniedziałek, Exotic, and the TV series Mental. She co-created the set design for the Polish part of Carlos Reygadas' new film, Wake of Umbra, co-produced by Madants. She has been nominated twice for Best Production Design at the Gdynia Film Festival.

 

She has collaborated with theaters including Teatr Powszechny in Warsaw, TR Warszawa, the Bogusławski Theatre in Kalisz, the W. Horzyca Theatre in Toruń, Teatr Polski w Podziemiu, and Scena Robocza in Poznań.

She is the co-founder of Ukos Studio, specializing in 3D graphics, modeling, and animation. She is passionate about new technologies and their applications in art.
